BRITISH GANGSTERS
OK, what is so attractive about gangsters and gangster culture
in the UK? well what is very obvious is that credible and famous {or do I say infamous} gangsters and some
British aristocrats are often intrinsically drawn together, indeed, when you
look objectively at these two groups of people, both exert some very similar
traits, i.e.
Both will take part in high risk activities which most
people would view as completely unreasonable, seemingly without any caution
whatsoever.
Both will have the drive and ability to treat other people in
an atrocious way without remorse or conscience, and have a total disregard for
the consequences of their actions.
Both will have addictive personalities, crime, narcotics,
alcohol etc
Both will have easy access to an apparently limitless supply
of cash
Could it be that the aristocrat who has a gangster as a
friend or companion uses this relationship as a type badge of honor
In my book
La Geordie Cosa Nostra, the anthology of the true modern day Geordie gangster
{available on
Amazon.com} and all leading book suppliers, shows how leading Northeast “faces”
often socialize with high level celebrities as well as the aristocracy, and often
appear in the local and national press, very obviously enjoying each other’s
company.
And my book
“DAMAGE” { available on Amazon.com} a fictional story of
a London gangster growing up and destined for a life of increasingly serious
crime which culminates in Marbella and the Costa Del Crime living the life of
an international and celeb
rated gangster.
This is clearly the age of the celebrity gangster, he is not
only treated with respect born out of fear and intimidation, the modern day
gangster is definitely celebrated and often held in great reverence, I speak of
course about the likes of Dave Courtney {London} , Paul Noonan {Manchester} and
John Sayers {Newcastle}, these celebrity
gangsters and more including myself have
published books often appearing in the best sellers lists and being read by
countless fans, and the interest in our life is still growing.
